Capital Equipment Sales Engineer

Location: West Yorkshire

The Role

  • To manage the sale of Capital Equipment in your Geographical area
  • To retain current business
  • To increase profitability
  • To develop new business and customers
  • To develop successful partnerships which add value to both the customer and Thorite
  • To prepare quotations and present these to customers
  • To provide technical and commercial advise to customers

About You

  • You must be commercially aware with the ability to build and maintain successful commercial relationships with our key customers
  • Ideally you must have a background in pneumatics, compressed air or process equipment or sales
  • You must be a dynamic individual with enthusiasm, team spirit, and the drive to be successful
  • You must be a great manager of your own time and have a flexible approach to an ever changing day
  • You must be able to identify and solve problems, giving recommendations to our customers

Fluid Handling Manager

Location: Bradford with UK travel

The Role

  • Responsible for the ongoing development of Thorite's fluid handling and process control strategy
  • Ability to drive the strategy through our business and into the marketplace
  • Ensure all Thorite staff are trained to sell and support the products and services
  • To identify new product opportunities form both existing and new customers
  • To manage all campaigns from concept through planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting to feedback
  • To assist with customer queries both technically and commercially
  • To ensure the Company remains up to date and adheres to relevant regulations and guidelines
  • To be a combined a Product and Applications Champion and a Business Development Manager

About You

  • You must want to be a key player within a business determined to achieve continued growth in the fluid handling and process sectors
  • You must be commercially aware
  • You must have great relationship building skills
  • Experience in fluid handling / process control industry is essential

Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Bradford

The Role

  • To supervise your team to achieve daily targets and objectives
  • To maintain stock control and quality of stock, fit for purpose, through regular daily checks and monitoring
  • To ensure a speedy resolution to issues raised to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • To review and ensure the most efficient use of storage systems and space
  • To seek and make continuous process improvements in the NDC
  • To understand all roles enabling you to provide necessary cover as required
  • To accurately, receive, unpack and check in product
  • To maintain a safe working environment

About You

The ideal person for this role will:

  • have experience in an engineering warehouse environment
  • be able to supervise and motivate your team
  • be a working Team Leader
  • be able to communicate well with work colleagues
  • have great attention to detail
  • be computer literate
  • be a certified FLT driver
  • have a full driving licence
