  • Full steam ahead for new processing products

    Compressed air and fluid systems specialists, Thorite, have extended their comprehensive stocks of process system products to include a wide range of control and consumable components for use in steam systems.

    Steam is now firmly established as a highly energy-efficient processing power source within the UK, enabling industry not only to cut direct energy costs, but also to significantly reduce the volume of emissions and their impact on the environment.


  • New Key Accounts Manager appointed

    Compressed air and fluid process systems specialist, Thorite, announces the appointment of David Hearn (58), to the position of Key Accounts Manager for the Lancashire and Cumbria areas.

    David will work out of Thorite's Blackburn Sales and Service Centre and be responsible for sales of pneumatic control equipment to a selected customer base of end users and OEM's, enabling them to benefit from personal service and expertise of the highest calibre.

    Designed to provide economic solutions for automotive workshops and the DIY car maintenance markets, the new hand tools meet the "Directive into UK regulations of the Noise at Work (1989)" requirements, which came into force in April 2006.
