Non-contact proximity sensors now available

Monday 13th August 2007

In order to satisfy a growing demand from UK manufacturing and processing companies Thorite, the compressed air and fluid process systems specialists, has added the Sensopart range of high quality electronic non-contact proximity sensors to its product portfolio.

Thorite's nationwide customer base can now benefit from these outstanding products, by ensuring that their machinery automation systems incorporate the most advanced sensing technology available.

The market leading Sensopart product range includes traditional inductive and capacitive sensors, plus the latest optical sensors. Vision sensing is a major growth area within automated production systems and it is expected that many manufacturers will wish to upgrade their existing facilities to include optical sensing technology, as well as specifying Sensopart units on new installations.

Thorite's extensive sales teams, based at their head office and eight regional Service Centres, have been trained to be fully conversant with all products within the Sensopart range.

In addition, a number of specially selected Thorite Product Champions have been intensively trained to offer customers the highest levels of technical knowledge and installation expertise.
