  • New role created, plus new appointment at Bolton

    Thanks to a constantly increasing demand from industry in the North West, Thorite, the UK's leading distributor of compressed air products and process systems, announces personnel changes at its Bolton Sales and Service Centre.

    Former Supervisor Peter Platt (47), has been promoted to a new role as Customer Support Manager.  His main responsibility will be to survey the pneumatic requirements of an increasing number of key Thorite accounts in the local area.  Peter will continue to be based at Bolton, from where he will also carry out staff training.


  • Thorite turn up the heat at Grampian Country Foods

    Compressed air systems specialist Thorite has supplied and installed a complete new compressor plant to Grampian Country Foods' Sandycroft processing facility, which has achieved major cost savings through its innovative heat recovery system.

    Grampian called on Thorite to data-log the existing compressors' performance, as they were keen to install energy efficient machinery which would cut both operating costs and carbon emissions.
