The UK's largest distributor of compressed air products and process systems, Thorite, have supplied and installed 2 HPC air compressors, a completely new compressed air ring main, plus filters and a refrigerated air dryer to Screenprint Productions' at their new 55,000 sq ft premises in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

The two HPC 11kW SK21 compressors each have a capacity of 64 CFM and are linked by a data-communications system, which enables them to "talk" to each other to handle varying energy demands.

Normally the compressors rotate their operating duties on a weekly basis, which reduces servicing requirements, but both can operate in tandem to cope with peak loads.

The compressors power all of Screenprint Productions' huge range of screenprinting, digital and cutting machinery, which are used to produce Point of Purchase displays for many leading retail, high street and financial services companies.

Speaking of the Thorite installation, Screenprint Productions' Director Martyn Hicks said: "We used HPC compressors in our previous premises in Elland and were always impressed by their performance, so when Thorite recommended the latest SK21 models for our new works we were delighted to agree. We are fortunate to be located reasonably close to Thorite's head office, as we prefer to deal with local suppliers, and they have responded quickly and efficiently to all our requests. The quality of the installation work is excellent and having a 5 year service contract in place means we can take on the largest orders with complete confidence."

Full details of the advanced range of HPC screw compressors are available from Thorite online, or from any of the company's nine regional Sales & Service Centres throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North East.
