Thorite goes green but misses the gold in EEF competition

Monday 28th November 2011

Keen on promoting it's green credentials Thorite entered the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards with it's innovative Compressed Air Audit and Survey programme in the Climate Change Opportunity category.

Managing Director, Stephen Wright and Capital Equipment Sales Manager, Steve Boults attended the glitzy regional heats at Oulton Hall Hotel, an event crowded with manufacturers and key industry decision makers. Unfortunately glory was not to be ours as the winner in the category was ITM Power with Regional Runner-up, Montracon Limited. Stephen Wright said after the event, "ITM were a worthy winner but business still need to control their compressed air costs with a rigorous leak control programme".
