The easiest way to ensure a healthy compressed air system

Thursday 1st August 2013

It's easy to assume that because compressed air systems are working they're operating efficiently. Few people realise that a single 3mm diameter compressed air leak can cost up to £600 per year, or that leakage is the single largest waste of compressed air - with up to 40% leakage on unmanaged systems being extremely common. But now Thorite can carry out a 10 point Summer Compressor Health Check for just £45+ VAT, to ensure compressed air systems are fighting fit.

The Summer Compressor Health Check is being offered exclusively to industrial users in the North East by Thorite-owned Hogg Pneumatic Solutions and is designed to reduce breakdowns, increase system efficiency, improve performance and save money.

Based in North Shields, Hogg Pneumatic Solutions will arrange for one of their specialist pneumatics service engineers to visit customers' premises and identify potential problem areas. Items covered include oil coolers, aftercoolers, compressor oil and air leaks, dryer temperature and dew point, drain valves, condensate treatment and in line filters. The service engineer will also carry out a general inspection of the compressor house and round off his visit by supplying a detailed written report – all within the extremely low cost of just £45 + VAT.

Our Hogg Pneumatic Solutions' service team comprises 2 factory trained engineers dedicated to Tyne & Wear customers, 2 experienced field sales engineers to provide system assessments and advice, supported by a well stocked Sales and Service Centre.

The Summer Compressor Health Check is only available until September 30th, so to take advantage of this service customers should call 0800 0341 041 without delay to book their engineer visit.
