Norgren sales incentive success leads to double celebrations

Three of Thorite's best performing Key Account Mangers, plus all staff from three of the company's network of Sales & Service Centres are celebrating success in a major Sales Incentive Scheme run by world-leading pneumatics products manufacturer Norgren.

The Norgren scheme was run in two parts:
The first rewarded sales growth throughout 2013 achieved by individual Thorite Key Account Managers (KAMS). Top performer, with increased sales of 29.4%, was Craig Thorpe from Sheffield who handles the South Yorkshire region.
Second was Kevin Slyde from Burntwood, near Lichfield, whose sales area covers the West Midlands on 26.2% and third was Allan Heffernan from Hindley, near Wigan, who looks after customers in the Greater Manchester area, with a sales increase of 19.2%.

The three high-flying KAMs won a 2 day business trip to tour Norgren's state of the art Alpen Manufacturing and Warehousing facility in Germany, followed by some traditionally generous German hospitality.

The second part of the Norgren scheme was open to staff from each of Thorite's 10 regional Sales and Service Centres. All staff from the top three most successful Centres stayed in a top Manchester hotel, toured nightspots popular with footballers and Coronation Street stars, enjoyed cocktails at the Printworks and finished up in various top nightspots.

The Bolton Centre took first place with an exceptional annual sales increase of 32.9%, very closely followed by the Brierley Hill Centre in the West Midlands with an increase of 32.6% and third was the Doncaster Centre with an increase of 25.5%.

Speaking after the celebrations Alan Donkersley, Thorite's Sales Director said: "I'm delighted that the Norgren Sales Incentive Scheme has proved to be both popular and highly successful. Thorite is not only Norgren's largest UK distributor but the Scheme also enabled us to grow our 2013 Norgren sales by a greater margin than any other distributor. In fact Norgren's Senior Management were so impressed by our performance that they attended a recent Thorite sales meeting to announce the awards and congratulate everyone involved in person."
