Thorite appoints Apprentice Compressor Service Engineer

Wednesday 14th January 2015

Thorite, the UK's biggest independent pneumatic products and process systems distributor, is a firm believer in the value of engineering and administrative apprenticeships for new staff members and for the first time has appointed an Apprentice Compressor Sevice Engineer, 18 year old Lewis Gordon.

Lewis will be based in Thorite's North Shields Sales and Service Centre and will be responsible for carrying out both planned and emergency servicing and maintenance on compressors, mainly in the North East, but with occasional requirements to work further afield.

Lewis lives in Gateshead and his main leisure interests are centred on both watching and playing football. He has captained every football team he has played for and is a keen supporter of Newcastle United FC, whilst also finding the time (and energy) to work out in his local gym four days a week!
