Thorite gains Hydrovane Distributor of the Year award

The UK's largest supplier of compressed air products and process systems, Thorite, has been singled out by major UK compressor manufacturer Hydrovane to receive their prestigious "Multi-Site Distributor of the Year" award.
The award recognises Thorite's exceptional sales of Hydrovane compressors achieved during 2009, not just from the main Head Office sales team in Bradford, but also from the company's eight other Sales and Service Centres which are located throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North East.
Speaking after receiving the award from Hydrovane's M.D. Colin Mander, Thorite Managing Director Stephen Wright said:
"UK industry is becoming acutely aware of the energy savings to be made from installing the most efficient means of generating pneumatic power. As a Hydrovane distributor for over 40 years we are proud to be associated with one of the few compressor companies still manufacturing their advanced products in this country. Hydrovane is noted for its energy efficient rotary vane technology which produces reliable, quiet, industrial compressors designed to run 24/7. The company is based in Redditch on a 8 1/2 acre site and employs a worldwide workforce of 1800.
