Two new booklets have been published by the BCAS (British Compressed Air Society). Both are codes of practice guides for users of compressed air systems. The first, titled Dental Compressed Air BCAS Code of Practice, is a guide to the selection, installation and use of Compressed AIr Systems in Dental Practices. A second booklet helps end users with advice on pressure, leakage and integrity testing of compressed air systems. The booklet also offers sound advice on jointing techniques for metal and plastic pipework systems. An invaluable source of information for anyone operating a factory compressed air system.
