Working safely with compressed air

Training course

This course helps employers fulfil their health and safety obligations and provides evidence, by the online assessment, that the individual has understood safe working practices and their responsibilities.

Taking about an hour to complete, it is ideal for all users of hand held air tools, and anyone who uses compressed air should take this course.

It covers:

  • hazards of compressed air as an energy source
  • hazards arising from various air tools
  • the use of personal protective equipment
  • employer and employee health and safety responsibilities when using compressed air
  • specific hazards and risks associated with blow gun use
  • a list of safe working practices to be followed

When you successfully complete your course, you will be able to print out your own BCAS/Virtual College certificate.
